When I entered the joint, they were pulling trays of fresh bread from the oven. I knew I was in for a good meal. When I visit an Italian place for the first time, I order two things - a meatball parm sub and a plain slice. If they don't get that right, forget it. Well, I was not disappointed. They knocked it out of the park. Fresh, hot, and quality ingredients. On a scale of 1-10, OIP rates a 20...

I ordered a slice and a meatball parm. Both were delicious! Homemade meatballs and the slice was as close to the Bronx as I had being up the mountain. Delicious sauce! As a traveling transportation driver, this is one of the best spots I been to as many pizza shops in the rural areas are eh. Staff was extremely polite and friendly, service was quick and the prices were amazing. Clean establishment! I definitely recommend.

Had the meatballs sub. Excellent fresh bun. Good amount of meatballs and sauce. Pizzas looked really good too. I would drive out of my way to go back!

I ordered the cheesesteak stromboli and the regular stromboli with ham, pepperoni, and cheese, plus a side of fresh-cut fries—and every bite was outstanding. The stromboli were perfectly baked, loaded with flavor, and generously filled without being greasy. The cheesesteak was especially impressive: well-seasoned, tender, and balanced just right. The fresh-cut fries were next level—hot, crispy, and clearly made fresh, not frozen. You can taste the quality and care that goes into the food here. Consistent quality, great portions, and food that speaks for itself. Mount Union OIP continues to be a go-to spot, and this meal reminded me why. Highly recommended.

UPDATE: 4/28/24 Things seem better. Onion rings were real n crispiest we ever had. Our subs were excellent, nice size, filled with meat on their delicious homemade rolls (you can buy rolls $1.90 and I did). IDK the waitresses name but she was a doll. So friendly n humorous n did her job well. Lady behind the register smiled. My only complaint, please put dressing in a bottle with a lid otherwise people hav to cover the spout with who-knows-what to skake it. UPDATE: 6/4/23 Things have changed. Bread wasnt the usual crusty dense texture. Salad was only lettuce, onion, tomato. Red sauce made us think of spaghetti-Os. White clam sauce was so thin n blah, cramming it full of chunks of garlic doesnt make up for the lack of taste. Seems like alotta corners being cut now. Thats too bad. 2022: Their pizza tastes excellent. Great flavor. Luv it. But it was soggy n fell apart. Only had pepperoni green peppers n fresh mushrooms. Nothing wet. Will go back but u need to fix that soggy problem.

Stopped here with my daughter for a quick bite. After a long, tiring day of setting up for the County Fair, we rushed to find a place to eat. We arrived 30 mins prior to closing and was happily welcomed, which was greatly appreciated. The staff answered my questions and I ordered a medium cheese pizza for dine-in. There were 2 other tables still seated. Everything looked very clean and tidy inside and the floors were beautiful and polished. The pizza came out quickly and we were given seasonings upon request. The pizza was very good but somewhat too soft of an undercrust, but that is a personal preference. The only downside was that after delivering the pizza and seasonings, we were never checked upon again. My daughter had to go to the counter to request a drink refill and we were never even given our check. After we walked up to pay the cashier asked the waitress for the check so she could ring us up. I understand they were preparing to close, but I was still a paying customer and we left only a few minutes after the other 2 seated tables also left. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience and we will definitely go there again for another meal.

Everything I have ever had here has always been good. The Buffalo wings are as good as the places that specialize in wings. My only complaint is they don't offer the option of celery with their wings. Good food, good service large portions and fair prices.
